Grief & Loss Workshop
Day 1 and Day 2 — Processing & Meaning: A two-day, trauma-informed journey through grief and loss
Service Description
This two-day workshop is designed for real life—the kind of grief that shows up after meaningful loss and in moments that test our sense of safety, belonging, and self. Day 1 invites you to understand grief in a broad, trauma-informed way: what loss is (including visible and invisible, slow and unspoken losses), what grief does to body, mind, and heart, and how attachment and meaning shape your experience. Day 2 moves from understanding to action: you’ll work with grief in practical, sustainable ways, guided by your workbook and grounded in body-aware practices. What sets this workshop apart from others: This two-day program moves grief from theory to daily living. Day 1 maps the many forms of loss and how they reshape identity, belonging, and everyday life. Day 2 focuses on action: turning insight into practical tools—crafting a coping map, reframing meaning, and fostering ongoing bonds. Guided by workbook prompts and anchored in body-aware practices, the approach blends Indigenous wisdom with current research to create a safe, supportive space. Participants leave with a personal carry-forward plan—clear steps to integrate grief into work, relationships, and community. The workshop is typically held over two 8-hour days, but it can be customized to fit you and/or your organization's needs.
